A completely free way to see if your competitor's ads are profitable for them is to track them stealthily. There is a very easy way to do this. We are going to go on a reconnaissance mission for one or two weeks, and then attack them when we are ready and gain a foothold of their market.
Here is a where a simple button on your keyboard comes into play. Simply press 'Print Screen' to copy the screen and paste it into any graphics program. Save it. Do this every three days for the same page. There will be some changes to the page (the non-profitable ads will be pulled out), but you can now see with crystal clarity which ads are appearing for days on end. Make no mistake, these ads are making money.
You should then take down notes on why these ads are profitable and the factors that keep them there. Craft out your own ad (don't copy those ads) and begin dominating the competition!
